Why Ed is not wearing uniform

Well he doesnt wear it in the series , even if he is "the dog of military" and I always wondered why
I have exams, they suck by brain out, my stomach hurst, my head hurts and I'm sooo sick.
Had to something to cheer myself up, and I did not submit oekaki lately.
Btw I'm still Roy x Ed obsessed.
